Ingredients
6 leaves of kale
3 zanahorias.
2 apples that are red,
chopped into small pieces.
1 remolacha A lemon with the peel removed.
A 2.5 cm slice of ginger.
Remember to remove the skin and clean the carrots, beet, and lemon.
Ensure that your fruits and vegetables are grown organically.
Instructions:
Wash all ingredients thoroughly, even if they’re organic, to remove any dirt or residues.
Peel the carrots, beet, lemon, and ginger.
Chop the apples, carrots, beet, lemon, and ginger into small chunks to make blending or juicing easier.
Remove tough stems from the kale leaves if desired (optional, especially if blending).
If Using a Juicer:
Feed all ingredients—kale, carrots, apples, beet, lemon, and ginger—into the juicer one at a time.
Stir the juice well and serve immediately over ice or chilled.
If Using a Blender:
Add all chopped ingredients to a high-speed blender.
Add about 1 to 1½ cups of cold water to help it blend smoothly.
Blend on high until smooth.
For a thinner juice, strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag. For a smoothie-style drink, you can skip straining.
Pour into glasses and enjoy fresh!
How to Store:
Use an airtight glass container – Mason jars or glass bottles with tight-fitting lids are best. Avoid plastic if possible, as it may affect flavor and nutrient stability.
Fill the container to the top to minimize air exposure, which can lead to oxidation and nutrient loss.
Refrigerate immediately – Fresh juice should be kept cold to preserve flavor and nutrients. Store it in the coldest part of your fridge (not in the door).
Consume within 24–48 hours – For the best taste and maximum nutrients, drink your juice within 1 day, though it can last up to 2 days.
After that, the flavor may change, and nutrients degrade.
Shake before drinking – Natural separation is normal. Just shake or stir before enjoying.
Variations:
Add cucumber
→ For extra hydration and a milder flavor.
Swap red apples for green
→ For a tart kick and fewer natural sugars.
Add celery stalks
→ Boosts detoxifying power and adds a crisp, clean taste.
Include fresh mint or parsley
→ Adds freshness and extra cleansing benefits.
Sweeten naturally
→ Add a splash of orange juice or a few pineapple chunks if you prefer a sweeter drink.
Turn it into a smoothie
→ Add ½ banana and a handful of ice or frozen berries for a thicker, more filling version.
Tips:
Juice in this order: Start with softer items (like apples and lemon), then fibrous ones (carrots, beet), and end with kale.
This helps extract more juice and clean out the machine.
Save the pulp: Use leftover pulp in soups, broths, veggie patties, muffins, or compost.
Drink on an empty stomach: It’s easiest for your body to absorb the nutrients this way.
Batch prep carefully: If you’re making juice for more than one day, store portions separately to keep them as fresh as possible.
Use cold ingredients: Start with chilled produce to enjoy instantly cool juice without diluting it with ice.
A single serving of this juice (about 2 cups or 500 ml) contains roughly 130 to 160 calories, depending on the size of your fruits and vegetables.
Most of the calories come from natural sugars in the apples, carrots, and beet.
It contains about 35 to 40 grams of carbohydrates, mostly from fruit sugars and fiber. If you don’t strain the juice, you’ll get more fiber (around 5–6 grams), which helps with digestion.
If you strain it, the fiber content will be lower.
There’s very little fat—less than 1 gram—and around 2 to 3 grams of plant-based protein.
This juice is very high in vitamin A, thanks to the carrots and kale, giving you more than double the daily recommended amount.
It’s also packed with vitamin C, mostly from the lemon, apple, and kale—enough to meet your daily needs.
Kale provides an excellent amount of vitamin K, which supports healthy blood and bones.
The juice is also a good source of potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure and muscle function, along with small amounts of iron, calcium, magnesium, and folate.
Thanks to the beet, ginger, and kale, it also has a high level of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, making it great for boosting immunity, supporting liver detox, and promoting overall health.
